With 2,500 machines planning on being installed at all the seven horse tracks by the end of the summer, the state estimates that this decision will bring in approximately $933 million.

Although many organizations disagree with this decision, the potential additional income brought in by this decision can make a big difference with helping the state financially. Columbus Area
Located in Grove City, Ohio, Beulah Park was the state’s first thoroughbred racetrack. It debuted in 1923 and is often compared to Saratoga. It recently went through a multi-million dollar make-over. Cincinnati
Cincinnati has the famous racetrack River Downs. This track opened in 1925 and the champion horse Seabiscuit ran here twice during his career.
Cleveland
Northfield Park located in southeast Cleveland has the only microbrewery at a racetrack in the entire world. Their grandstand is glass-enclosed for climate control.
